Surah At-Taubah, Ayat 40

Ayat 40. If you help him (Muhammad [SAWW](PBUH)) not (it does not matter), for Allah did indeed help him when the disbelievers drove him out, the second of two, when they (Muhammad [SAWW](PBUH) & Abu Bakar) were in the cave, and he ( [SAWW](PBUH)) said to his companion (Abu Bakar): "Be not sad, surely Allah is with us." Then Allah sent down His Sakinah (calmness, tranquility, peace, etc.) upon him, and strengthened him with forces (angels) which you saw not, and made the word of those who disbelieved the lowermost, while it was the Word of Allah that became the uppermost, and Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

Hazrat Ibn `Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) said: When (Prophet) Ibrahim (PBUH) (Abraham) was thrown into the fire, he said: "Allah (Alone) is sufficient for us, and, He is the Best Disposer of affairs.'' So did Messenger of Allah Muhammad [SAWW](PBUH) when he was told: "A great army of the pagans had gathered against him, so fear them". But this (warning) only increased him and the Muslims in Faith and they said: "Allah (Alone) is sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs (for us)". [Al-Bukhari Hadith # 4563 & 4564].

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah At-Taubah Ayat 40. "and he ( [SAWW](PBUH)) said to his companion (Abu Bakar): "Be not sad, surely Allah is with us." Even in the worst circumstances one should always have faith and trust in Allah.
