Surah At-Taubah, Ayat 84-85

Ayat 84. And never pray (funeral prayer) for any of them (hypocrites) who dies, nor stand at his grave. Certainly they disbelieved in Allh and His Messenger, and died while they were Fasiqun (rebellious, - disobedient to Allah and His Messenger  [SAWW](PBUH).

Ayat 85. And let not their wealth or their children amaze you. Allah's Plan is to punish them with these things in this world, and that their souls shall depart (die) while they are disbelievers. 

Hazrat Abu Musa (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Verily, Allah gives respite to the oppressor. But when He seizes him, He does not let him escape.'' Then he [SAWW](PBUH)) recited, "Such is the Seizure of your Rubb when He seizes the (population of) towns while they are doing wrong. Verily, His Seizure is painful (and) severe". (11:102). [Al-Bukhari Hadith # 4686 and Muslim Hadith # 6253]. 

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah At-Taubah Ayat.85. "Alalh's plan to punish them with these things in this world" One should not take the respite for exemption because no one knows when respite granted by Him will come to an end and punishment will follow.
